Did you know that cocoa has an amazing number of health benefits? Now, keep in mind I’m not talking about your pre-made hot cocoa mix since those tend to have an incredible amount of sugar and other interesting things added to it. #shucks BUT cocoa in its pure form has some great qualities! I recently read an article that stated cocoa has been found to help combat diabetes, contains antioxidants, lowers blood pressure, balances cholesterol and so much more!
January is fast approaching and I’m not sure about where you are, but here on the prairies January can be a looooong cold month. So I’ve rounded up a couple healthier hot cocoa versions from Pinterest to try out!
